2018 Statewide Conference for the Deaf

Innovation. Inspiration. Impact.

Join us this summer for the 2018 Statewide Conference for the Education of the Deaf in Grapevine, TX. We will gather to learn new innovations to inspire and impact learning for us and our students. Registration is open and the early bird rate ends on May 31, 2018. Go to https://swced.org/Registration/ to register. TAPED Scholarships

TAPED has a long history of providing scholarships to deserving high school seniors and individuals interested in pursuing degrees in the field of deaf education and interpreting. Since 1985 TAPED has awarded more than $90,000 in scholarships supported by membership dues and fundraising efforts. Please share the information with interested students and staff. The Silent Auction Needs Your Help
 
 

The Silent Auction Needs Your Help

The TAPED Silent Auction held at the conference funds the scholarships that are awarded each year. We need your help in order to have a successful auction. This is how you can help:

  • Collect donated items for the silent auction
  • Volunteer to work the silent auction tables during the Statewide Conference
  • Donate a basket of goodies from your program or school for the Silent Auction

Prizes will be awarded for:

  • Most Creative
  • Best Children's Basket
  • Highest Earning Basket
  • Best Literacy Basket
  • Most Unusual
  • Prettiest Design
  • Most Appetizing
  • Most Fun Basket

Those who work the auction will have their names entered into a drawing for gift cards.
