How does the Statewide Outreach Center help you, your students, your professional peers, and the families you serve?
- Increasing awareness about how every student who is deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) can achieve his/her full potential when provided with appropriate educational opportunities
- Directing parents, teachers, students, and staff to the appropriate agency, program, service, information, or resource
- Providing programs, services, and resources for families and students who are DHH
- Extending access to SOC resources, programs, and services through statewide events and online opportunities
- Collaborating with educational agencies and public or private entities to provide effective and efficient delivery of services
- Providing online resources and materials for use in family or professional settings
- Delivering professional development training and resources to professionals who provide educational or related services to students who are DHH
- Conducting research and developing resources or programs to meet current and future needs
